Opportunity to Get Free Travel in 'Namo Bharat' Trains by Redeeming Loyalty Points

Passengers of Namo Bharat trains now have the opportunity to earn free travel by redeeming their loyalty points.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched a scheme under which passengers traveling on Namo Bharat trains using Digital QR Tickets or National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) earn loyalty points for every journey.

• Passengers who accumulate at least 300 loyalty points can redeem them for free trips.
• Loyalty points get credited daily to the NCMC accounts of passengers.
• These points can be redeemed the next day.

For example:
If a passenger spends ₹100 on a journey, 100 loyalty points are credited to their NCMC account. After collecting enough points, passengers can redeem them for free travel.

To simplify redemption and avoid hassle, the NCRTC has made bulk redemption of five trips at a time mandatory. These will be deducted from the NCMC wallet.

• The redeemed trips are valid for 7 days. So if a passenger redeems five trips, they must use all of them within seven days.
• Loyalty points can also be viewed and redeemed via TVMs (Ticket Vending Machines), ticket offices, or at the ticket counter.
