Ram Temple Construction Reaches Completion, Says Trust
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced the completion of all major construction works related to the Ram Temple complex, marking a historic milestone in the decades-long endeavour. The grand temple dedicated to Prabhu Shri Ramlalla, along with six additional shrines honoring deities including Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Suryadev, Goddess Bhagwati, Goddess Annapurna, and Sheshavatar, has been fully completed.
Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Trust, confirmed that every aspect of temple construction had reached completion. The Trust expressed its gratitude and joy to devotees, declaring that the long-awaited vision of the temple had finally materialized.
According to the Trust, preparations and logistical arrangements for devotees have also been finalized. Infrastructure work, such as laying of roads, stone flooring, land beautification, and landscaping, has been undertaken by leading construction firms including L&T and GMR. Only a few ancillary projects, such as sections of the boundary wall, guest house, and auditorium, remain under execution.
The Trust’s chairman, Nripendra Mishra, stated that arrangements for around 6,000 to 8,000 guests have been made for the upcoming religious ceremonies. The celebrations will include the ‘virajman’ of the ‘Ram Parivar’ idols on the first floor of the sanctum. On this occasion, an aarti will be performed, and the Prime Minister will hoist the ‘Dhvaj’ atop the main temple structure.
The consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in the sanctum marked a significant spiritual and cultural moment for millions of devotees. The Trust has emphasized that every construction and aesthetic detail has been executed with precision, ensuring both architectural grandeur and devotional sanctity.
