Seven-Day Shri Ram Katha to Recreate Spiritual Grandeur with Ayodhya-Themed Setting

A grand seven-day Shri Ram Katha is being organized at the Ramlila Maidan in Kavinagar, under the guidance of the Mangalyan family, bringing together devotion, culture and spiritual reflection in an atmosphere designed to evoke the sanctity of Ayodhya.

 

The religious discourse is scheduled to continue until February 1, with daily sessions held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The narration of the sacred Ram Katha is being delivered by renowned storyteller Vijay Kaushal Maharaj, whose sermons are expected to draw large gatherings of devotees each evening.

 

Organizers have designed the venue to reflect the architectural and spiritual aura of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. A specially constructed divine enclosure allows devotees to have darshan of Lord Shri Ram in a setting inspired by the Ayodhya temple complex. The event seeks to present a confluence of religious faith, cultural pride and national sentiment.

 

One of the distinctive features of the event is a special exhibition depicting the 500-year historical struggle associated with the Shri Ram temple, offering visitors a visual and narrative journey through significant milestones. In addition, daily havan and special yajna ceremonies are being conducted as part of the spiritual proceedings.

 

The event is expected to witness the attendance of approximately 12,000 to 15,000 devotees each day. To ensure a seamless experience, organizers have arranged advanced stage design, large display screens and modern sound systems. Adequate security measures and crowd management systems have also been implemented for the safety and convenience of attendees.

 

A special attraction of the Katha is the presence of “Punganur” cows being brought from Andhra Pradesh, enabling devotees to participate in and experience traditional cow service during the event.

 

The Shri Ram Katha aims not only to offer religious discourse but also to strengthen community bonds through shared devotion and collective participation. With its elaborate arrangements and spiritually immersive environment, the event stands as a significant cultural and devotional gathering for the region.
